Blossoms are important to a vineyard. Both natural, indigenous plants and exotics provide year around color and texture. Here is a collection of English, snow daises, bushpoppys, Indian paint brush, blue thorn, almond buds and climbing roses, which surround the vineyard blocks. The objective is to have something in bloom all during the year. This attracts the “good bugs” to eat the “bad bugs” in a natural progression of things. Also, the migrating birds and wild honey bees visit here often.
